This is one of my earlier astroimages, taken with a film camera piggybacked to my Meade LX200 telescope. I aimed the telescope at the constellation Cygnus in the middle of the Milky Way. Even at this wide angle the reddish North America Nebula (also known as NGC 7000) can be seen.
